National Civil Rights Museum is right here in Memphis on the site of the Lorraine Motel. It presents a timeline of the civil rights struggle as it relates to African Americans and the events of the 1950's and 1960's.

Celebrate Black History Month is a site from the History Channel that offers profiles of 28 famous black personalities, from Muhammad Ali to Malcolm X. Sponsored by Encyclopedia Britannica.

Black History Hotlist This site is a collection of other Internet sites that can be used as raw material for your own studies of African-American history.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr A website devoted to the late civil rights leader from the Seattle Times.
